These are the three basic holds:

        BASIC TIE INSTRUCTIONS
1.  Find the middle of the wrap and place the wrap across your waist, with the middle centered at your navel.
2. Cross the two pieces of fabric behind your back and bring them over your shoulders, back to front
3. Tuck both ends o fthe wrap through the middle (flower) section, top to bottom.
4. cross the end pieces in the front and bring hte ends behind your back.
5. You now have the option of tying it behind your back or wrap it around again to tie in the front.
6. Spread the fabric out over your shoulders for a comfy fit.

Hug Me Mamma!
1. Holding baby against your chest, facing you, find the X in the wrap and place each leg through  the top part of it (shoulder pieces)
2. Spread each piece of fabric over the baby’s little bum, bottom piece first
3. Locate the fabric panel (Flower piece) and pull it up and around baby’s legs, creating a pouch. 
4. Older babies will most likely like to have their legs out of the pouch in which case, pull the baby’s legs through the fabric panel as shown.

Technique

1. Holding baby tightly, facing out, place each leg through the shoulder pieces and arms through too.
(There will be an X across Baby's abdomen)
2. Spread the fabric over the baby’s groin, abdomen and shoulders.
3. Locate the fabric panel and pull it up and around baby’s legs, creating a pouch. 
4. Older babies will most likely like to have their legs out of the pouch in which case, pull the baby’s legs through the fabric panel as shown.


Newborn Hold 

1. Locate the shoulder piece nearest your body and open the seam to create a pocket for baby.
2. Place baby on the shoulder opposite from the piece of fabric closest to you
3. Slide baby down your chest and into this pocket.  The baby's legs will remain in the fetal position
4. Spread the fabric over the baby's body including the shoulders, back and bottom
5. Locate the opposite section of fabric and spread over baby's body
6. Find the front panel and pull it up and over baby
